It is my honor to help individuals from all walks of life process challenges and move towards healing. I am passionate about providing a safe space for children, teens, and adults to feel seen and heard as they share their stories through counseling.

In individual therapy, I utilize an integrative therapeutic approach to address challenges such as anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, behavioral concerns, chronic pain, trauma, adoption issues, attachment problems, and relational strains.

I specialize in providing Child-Centered Play Therapy to children (ages 3+) to process emotions, thoughts, and problems in a developmentally appropriate way. I also work with caregivers to strengthen the child-parent relationship and provide ongoing parent consultations during the course of therapy.

Additionally, I am trained in providing Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a type of treatment used to address post traumatic stress and other emotional challenges. ART can be used with children, teens, and adults to help the brain process and store distressing memories. This modality often reduces the strain of physical, emotional, and mental symptoms associated with traumatic experiences. We will work together to determine if this treatment may be the right fit for your therapeutic needs.

I hold a graduate degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Christian Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in the state of South Carolina, and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A) in the state of North Carolina.

I am actively pursuing credentialing as a Registered Play Therapist and have completed Phase I requirements as outlined by the Association for Play Therapy.
