Frequently Asked Questions
What are your rates?
Each of our clinicians set their own rates for sessions. Currently the rates range between $100 and $150 per 45 to 50 minute session. For some of our clinicians, intake appointments are 80 minutes and often require a higher rate for the first session. Please feel free to reach out to us about rates for specific clinicians.
Do you take insurance?
Currently, none of our therapists are officially “in-network” with any insurance companies. We only accept self-pay for sessions. However, you can check with your insurance company prior to attending a session to see if they will reimburse for counseling services if provided with a superbill. A superbill is a document that displays what services you received, how much you paid for those services, and the codes insurance companies use to document those services. Some companies will reimburse for all or part of your fee. All of our therapists are happy to provide superbills.
What can I expect from a session?
A standard individual counseling session is 45-50 minutes long, and most couples sessions are 80 minutes long. For some clinicians, intake appointments are 80 minutes long. Our clinicians are able to offer both in-person or virtual sessions, depending on your preference. The counseling environment is confidential, and what you share is safe between you and your counselor. You will discuss more about confidentiality and any possible limits to this with your clinician during your intake appointment.
Counseling sessions will look different for each client - our clinicians have different areas of training and expertise, and their approach to counseling will vary depending on their own individuality and on your needs as a client. You will work together with your clinician to create goals that best suit you and your counseling needs.

How do we measure success?
In counseling, success is measured on an individual basis, as each person that comes in has their own unique story. Growth is often not linear, and can be a messy process that takes time and hard work. We work with you at the outset to help you develop your own goals for your time in counseling, and will continue to check-in to make sure that you are continuing to move towards those goals.
