Play Therapy

Play Therapy is a developmentally appropriate model of therapy used for children ages 3 and older. Play Therapy allows children to process social, emotional, and behavioral challenges through the language of play, and move towards growth and healing. Individual Play Therapy sessions for children typically last between 45-50 minutes. In addition to the therapy process, caregivers are provided consultations with the therapist in order to help strengthen the child-parent relationship. Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a therapeutic method used to process post traumatic stress, anxiety, grief, OCD, and many other emotional challenges. This therapy utilizes techniques such as rapid eye moments, guided imagery, and voluntary image replacement to help the brain reprocess and store painful events and memories. ART also addresses the mind-body connection associated with trauma, which helps alleviate physical symptoms associated with distressing memories. Individuals typically experience relief between 1-5 sessions. To learn more about Accelerated Resolution Therapy, visit the ART website. To request an appointment, visit the contact page.

Group Counseling

Group counseling allows for individuals experiencing similar struggles to work together as they gain skills, understanding, and awareness of themselves and of others. Group sessions have varying times and meeting frequencies. To read more information about current group offerings, visit the groups page.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a structured therapy that encourages the patient to briefly focus on the trauma memory while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements), which is associated with a reduction in the vividness and emotion associated with the trauma memories.  To request an appointment, visit the contact page.
